Walnut sweet bread




{Walnut Sweet Bread}


  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 raisins


  1. Preheat oven to 350 º F. Grease and flour a cake pan
  2. On a large bowl, beat sugar and melted butter. Add egg and milk, and keep on whisking.
  3. Add flour and baking powder, and mix with a spatula.
  4. Add the walnuts and raisins, slightly floured.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes. Take out of the oven, transfer to a wire rack and let cool before serving and enjoy

    Made this last night and it was delish! Half the loaf was gone this morning before we left the house. Although I didn’t have any walnuts and used pecans instead but I can only imagine how yummy it would be with the walnuts!
